Ok, I've already taken two other CLEP exams with great success. I'm getting ready to take my Analyzing and Interpreting Lit exam. I've taken one of the Peterson's tests and got a 75%. Where do I stand on being ready for the exam. Mind you, I need a 57 on the test to get the credit at my college.
Thanks,
James

I recently took the A&I Literature CLEP on July 22, 2008. To my astonishment I scored a 64!!!
I did take one Peterson's practice test and that was back in March or April. I only scored a 45 out of 80. I went over some literary terms and devices found in the Specific Exam Feedback section for an hour or two the night before the exam and that was it.
I was just hoping to at least get a 50 on the exam...so imagine my face when I saw a 64 pop up!!!
Based on your Peterson's scores, you are definitely ready, don't sweat it. This exam was easy as pie. I finished the exam with 25 minutes still remaining.
Good luck on your exam...even though I know you won't need it!!!

I sat this test yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Based on your practice test scores, you'll do great. It is a good idea to keep an eye on the clock though. You'll have 90 minutes to answer 80 questions. Personally, I found it best to read the passage once thoroughly, then answer the corresponding questions. You could also just read the questions and find the answers within the passage (they'll specify which lines to read). Either way, you'll do fine!

Hey,
thanks for all the help you all have provided. I went and took the test today. I thought that my score was definitely not going to be good when I got toward the end of the test. I needed a 57 to pass and was going to be excited if I got that. Imagine how pumped I was when I saw a 71 pop up on the final screen! Anyway, thanks for all of the help. PETERSONS!!!!!!!! Thats about all I can say for prepping for this one. Petersons really did it for me. I thought I was going to be terrible with this one but I got far beyond what I needed. Intro to Psych.... here I come.
THANKS AGAIN!
