What are the gimme tests?
#11
I would group tests together that have similar content. That way you get more bang for your buck. Psychology, Sociology, and Human growth and development can all be taken in a short time. Principles of Management and principles of Supervision are very similar, and should be taken together. I also found that marketing did not require much prep. time.
I would also take A&I Lit, tech. Writing and Business Math cold. (Unless those courses are essential to your degree.)

I really don't consider any of them as "gimmes". I can only afford to take them once and I want the biggest bang for my buck. There are some I will find easier to take but I still don't want to take them for granted.

I think that's a really good tip. Taking the courses together makes it easy to study and makes it easier on your brain when you're taking the tests!

I am going for a degre in Natural Science / math I have already taken General Chemistry I & II and Organic Chemistry I & II with A in 3 of the 4 at a B & M school. I will be testing out of Calculus and Physics at some future date, many people would not even think of taking these test. I am not worried about them I know I can learn that stuff. I have a big mental block when it comes to Biology. I have seen others with no science background do great on it, but I am afraid of it. If I have a problem with some of the other test I have to take I may need to put Biology in and that scares me.

So the bottem line is what are you good at, what do you know or what do you like. Those will be your easiest test. I would never take a test cold. I do technical report writing as part of my job and have for 30+ years, but I still studied before I took the Technical Writing DSST because I didn't want to waste the money or time without being prepared.

I found Business math to be a walk in the park. If you can calculate interest and know some basic terminology this test is a breeze!
