Yes, there are 5 minors, accounting, education, MIS, management, project management, that's advertised on the Your Pace webpage. Little is known about others, but technically ANY minor they offer from the butt-in-seat option is available as long as you have all the courses required for them available in Your Pace and also transferable elsewhere.
You can have the BLS Management, and add the Project Management or MIS, or both if you wanted. However, if you're going for BABA, the management minor and the business admin minor may be fulfilled already. I would add the MIS or Project Management instead for that degree. Keep your options open, but just finish the BLS Management first, don't jump all over the place. Good luck, have fun!
For the BABA there is NO minor. BA - Business Administration is the MAJOR. Then you have your Concentration such as Marketing, Project Management, Accounting, Management & Leadership. Just wanted to clarify the difference in these terms.

Maybe someone can confirm this (it is not part of the YourPace BABA requirements. The rest of the minor can be completed through YourPace courses - as they are part of the YourPace BABA). Is this something you can transfer in from Sophia or Study? Maybe I'm just missing something from the YourPace options.
PCJ215 is a course available in YourPace. It's a required course for some degrees. Some of the BABA's have changed to BUS210. Another sign that the Brightspace move is happening.

I think the 12 credits per session is just a limit they want to make sure you're getting past that probational period, once that 12 credits is complete, they'll most likely open that session to more courses. The second session you take, you should be able to complete the remaining classes. So for example, 12 first session, they'll most likely open at least 1 more course to bump you to 15 credits, the second session would allow you the final 15 credits for a total of 30.

So If I was to finish say 2 classes, ask Jessica to give me another 2 and finish those in term 1, would I be stuck taking no more classes in fall term 2? or am I stuck taking 2 first fall term and 2-second fall term for a total of 12 credits and can't take any more? That would really suck because that would mean no acceleration for the semester and I would have to take the other 6 classes in Spring terms.
Congratulations on being welcomed back to UMPI!!!!!
Do you mean 12 credits? It says 12 classes above which would be 36 credits. These are questions you'll have to ask Jessica. You're on academic probation so there are restrictions on you until you prove yourself.

I'll add that I think the 'Management & Leadership' is a better choice that Business Admin for a minor. Management & Leadership reads more tangible (easily understood), Business Admin is very broad (and rather vague to many), but this is my opinion. You need to boost your GPA and need to complete at least 10 UMPI courses so I'm not sure why you would want to make such a change at this point. I don't see the value added.
Also, of the courses required to complete (and pass) don't those include those courses you failed? Needing to replace those grades (F with A/Bs), or have you already factored that?
Finally - Yay! I'm glad to hear that you're back on target to getting your UMPI degree
If I am doing the BLS and they allow me to minor in BA, then it would reduce the number of courses I have to take for a minor. Right now if I leave Management as my Minor, I have to take 4 courses, vs with the BA minor, I would only need to take 2. Yes PCJ 215 I already have, it came in from Sophia, Comm In The Workplace I think it is called. So right now I would only need Math 140 and Bus 125, then BA minor is complete. Both of those courses are also fairly easy compared to the 4 courses needed for a Management Minor. Also remember this degree for me is simply to check a box, so the path of least resistance is the best option at this time. Still not sure if I will be able to. I emailed my advisor, just waiting on a response on if that is possible. I did factor in the classes I have to replace though, essentially during my 2nd fall term, I will evaluate my GPA. If It is brought up enough, I will not worry about taking them again. If it is still too low, I will then retake them.

Sorry, I meant to state 12 credits. Yeah, I asked her in an email this morning with some other questions. Just waiting on a reply at the moment.

Ah, agreed - after all this, the path of least resistance is advisable
