What school are you going to? If it's TESU, then it doesn't matter.

Now that it's a new day and I'm reading this thread again, It really seems that the switch is on 6/1 and not 6/8. The exam facts page must be wrong... People wanting to take the old tests only have today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.

One big change I just spotted, the Business Ethics exam changed to 3 LL credit from UL. Really glad I took it earlier this year for UL credit.

I like the selection of DSST exams, but I've been sad to find that many community and technical colleges won't give credit. I guess most people on this forum don't care because of attending The Big Four
I am trying to do more CLEP/UExcel/TECEP instead, but DSST has some great ones.

Thanks for the post. I saw it yesterday and read the notes from the forum. I took the DSST Criminal Justice test this morning and got a 470. This was my first time taking a test for credit. I hope they give me the 6 credits rather than 3. Ace says it changes on 6/1 but the TESU / DSST transfer page has 5/30.

Ace downgraded the Intro to CJ DSST to 3 credits, but if TESU's web site is correct, they are still granting 6 credits for it. Can anyone confirm this? I don't think it would be an outdated web page since they updated the exam expiration date..

I asked advising, looks like Intro to CJ is still worth 6 credits at TESU.

I contacted Prometric help desk and they informed me that due to the way the ACE transcript site was developed, ACE can only put in beginning and end of month dates. (5/31, 2/1, etc). However, they were working on a way to ensure students received the recommended credit if they took the CJ exam before 08 June, 2017. I took it on 01 June, 2017 and my Joint Service Transcript showed up as 6 credits.

Even though I got it in writing from TESU that the CJ DSST is still worth 6 credits, and even though their website still says 6 credits, they only gave me 3. I appealed and they apologized saying the website wasn't updated yet... (it's been 4 months).
I'm sharing this so that no one uses my outdated post above. For me it's not the end of the world because I have the study.com scholarship and will just quickly do another study.com course for an elective.
