The course: Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct - Ethics 312 ( The Institutes) is free to take and ACE recommended for 2 lower division credits in ethics for insurance professionals.
When signing up for the course it has an option to pay for CE credit, but I got it certified to my ACE transcript via the free option.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Can you please provide a review of the course? How long did it take to complete? Are exams proctored?

It's 20 modules of reading, followed by a 50 question multiple choice exam (Passing is 70%). I went through all the modules, but I am under the impression you can go straight to the exam and skip all the reading.
It is not proctored in any way.
Overall probably spent 2-3 hours on the entire thing, but then I have had some formal training in applied bioethics, probably would have taken a bit longer without that.

Of course it's not proctored. It's an ethics course. No one capable of passing the course would need proctoring, right? Oh wait, what about the other group?

Quick question: does anyone know what TESC would do if you took this course? Is it worth taking this course if you have to fulfill the Ethics requirement and don't need any more GenEd/free credits? Would they waive the requirement for the 3rd unit of Ethics?

I went straight to the exam, scored 40 points - 80%. I will request the credit to be added to my ACE transcript. Don't say no to free credits.

I did it last night as well - 72% in about 20 minutes. I'm just hoping that TESC will count it for Ethics, I don't need any more units (other than the very specific ones left for my degree requirements).

I (just) signed up and went straight to the test. About 2 hours (was watching TNF at the same time) and scored 42 pts/84%. I'll be sending this to TESC just to see what they do with it.
