NatashaB Wrote:Thanks for posting all this information. I'm fairly new to the forum and trying to find my way around all the different processes and terminology (and also fairly new to the US, so not too familiar with how colleges work with regard to credit transfer!). Am I correct in thinking that even if I'm enrolled at COSC, I need to add these courses to my ACE account and then get them transferred to COSC? Or can they be sent directly to COSC?
Welcome to the forum and the US. May I ask your country of origin?
To answer your question about ACE & COSC: you will need to have the TEEX courses sent to ACE, then request ACE send a transcript to COSC. You can wait until all of your ACE credits are completed before requesting a transcript. My understanding is that every time you send a transcript, ACE charges you. You can accumulate ACE credits and send one transcript for $40, I think.

Thanks so much for clarifying... that's what I thought. I moved here from the UK a couple of years ago
eeya: Had to abandon my degree there partly finished, I'm working on having my transcripts assessed. UK degrees tend not to cover as much general education as US ones so I'm working on filling in a few gaps at the moment. I got some quotes from various colleges and thought I was never going to afford to finish my degree until I discovered this forum.cheersmate

You are welcome! The members of this forum are great. You can ask almost any question and someone here will know the answer or know where to direct you. Hope you stick around.
I've always wanted to see the UK. Hope to go in the next 3-5 years.

Well I finally finished all the TEEX modules. YAYAYAYAY!!!:hurray: I already have the two on my ACE transcript I'm just waiting for them to add the last one and then I can send it over to TESC. Wishing for 6 credits!! It looks like the 80% is a cummulative of all the courses in each module. Once this last one comes over I'll know for sure since that one averages to exactly 80%. But I think this is the case because I had an 80% also on the other module. Fingers are crossed!!
I highly recommend these courses. And even more so hopefully when I know the transfer equivalent. :coolgleam:

Well done! Did you add them to your ACE transcript immediately after completing them? I saw someone else on this thread suggested waiting 2 weeks... were you able to add yours straight away?

The first two I finished on 2/4 and 2/8 and I added them on 2/18 and they were at ace within an hour of me requesting it. This last one I completed yesterday and also requested ACE to get it and so far it is still pending. I'm hoping next week it will show up so I can send it to TESC because they usually have been doing my evaluation the first week of the month.

I am trying to finish awr139 Digital Forensics Basics. But there is no checkmarks
to fill like in all the previous ones. I sent an email to support about it.
Did anyone else had a similar problem?
Regards,
Ronald

The only thing I can say is try logging off and going back in and see if they show up. Good luck.

Thank you Chiquitacobbe (I actually tried that before), at the end I sent an email to support.
After speaking with support they mentioned to me that they usually reset the course on this
kind of situations. I requested the reset and everything was solved.

Glad you were able to get it reset. One nice thing about that is that they are pretty easy to work with on tech support.
Good luck finishing the courses, I'm waiting for my last one to get accepted to ACE so I can transfer them to TESC.
