Hello,
I recently passed CLEP US History I, and I had Excelsior College set as my home college on CollegeBoard when I registered. I know it says it will send a single free copy of your score to your registered school, but does that apply to military transcript CLEP completions as well? The site says military CLEP transcripts have to be ordered separately, for about $30. So I'm hoping the free score send works.
Has anyone had any experience with this?

I haven't, but I do know that if you send the transcript at test time, it's only for that particular exam. So if you've taken any exams previously, those will have to be ordered on a separate transcript. Not sure if that's what you're talking about though.

I could be wrong, but I think if you took your CLEP through Dantes(military) it should be on your joint service transcript, which is free to have sent to whatever colleges you want.

When you take it through the military your transcript gets sent to VEC (the people who sends things to update yiur JST) in Florida. It'll be added to your JST. The school you put to be sent your transcript gets the free one. That's how it work for myself and my husband

Thank you to all for the feedback. The initial free score-send does automatically go to the home college for military test takers. Excelsior just evaluated and added my CLEP from the 11th, without me having to take any extra actions after the exam.
