you just made my day!
I have done fine in every multi choice test I find but my mind goes blank when I see that little line for fill in the blank!

All of my tests have been multiple choice, but on the clep college math exam there were actually a few fill in the blanks. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes, both the College Math and Pre-Calculus CLEP tests have some questions that require you to type in a numeric answer. To my knowledge the only CLEPs that require a verbal answer, i.e. typing in text, are the English Comp and Freshman English with essay.

I believe that the only fill in would require you to perform a math problem and come up with a solution. This really isn't a fill in as having to memorize a name, date, place but to perform a math function.
It is important to note though that your study will require you to mentally fill in the blank (as seen in the flashcards) making it easier for you to literally see the correct answer to a question found within the multiple choice answers given.

Ok, me too, but here's a tip. When you study here, you don't actually HAVE TO FILL IN the blank! Just click to view the answer- it will be marked "wrong" but nobody cares except you- and you know if you "knew" it or not. Don't worry!
