I got a 64 on my English Comp test, but the report the College Board sent me just lists that...the score, nothing about how I did on the different sections, or a percentile scale...I'm just curious as to what that score means...It sounds low, if 50 is passing, and that is bothering me. I normally do very well on standardized tests.

Sounds great to me. I only got a 53. I was stressed out for weeks thinking straighterline was my next option. In reality though we will never know what part got us the passing grades.
Good job on that score!

As long as you verified that your university accepts a '50' as passing, you passed. CLEP does not deal in percentiles, just scaled scores. If you didn't get anything correct you would have received a '20' and a perfect score receives a score of '80'. Sounds like you did a great job with a 64! Congrats!

Thanks, guys! That makes me feel better. I was thinking of it as a percentage...44 out of a possible 60 points...and that's only a 73%, and I'd be really shocked if that was how my score broke down.
