It looks like you can avoid the Compass testing if they do the lowest levels of Math and English.
Do you happen to know how to do Compass testing if you are out of state?

Their website is driving me nuts. Can someone help direct me to the start/end dates for registration/classes? Usually this is one of the easiest bits of info to find.

We were able to use the accuplacerfor NMJC a few years ago. We took it at the local library for $25.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Luna's web site could be improved. I signed up for Accounting w/ Professor Gutierrez. She's sweet, but the technical issues had me stymied, so I ended up dropping it. (I didn't even mean to drop it, I was trying to figure out how to change my status to audit.

You have to go to the schedule:
http://www.luna.edu/schedule/
Choose the term you're interested in and under the prefix put online courses.

Also, if you're of a certain age, you are charged in-state senior citizen tuition. It's like $15 for a course. You pay full price, but then you're issued check. It would be great for folks who needed to get prerequisites out of the way, or who wanted to change careers. The textbooks, however, are a whole different story! As always, they're very expensive.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
