I'm trying to but having a bit of difficulty with UMPI.
My admissions specialist is insisting that my OU credits need to be evaluated by WES, and also that I provide a high school transcript. I only want to pay for WES again if I'm sure they're actually going to transfer credits in and not just waste my money. But I suspect unless I can speak to an academic advisor I'm just going to get the same answer.
High school exam transcripts are going to be even harder and more expensive to obtain, due to it being over 30 years ago and the exam boards having dissolved, merged, split, changed names etc.
UMPI and the University of Maine System require a high school transcript for all students who do not have a degree. If you have an associate degree or bachelor's degree then you're waived from the requirement. It's required of international students as well. Yes, it's challenging for students who graduated a few decades ago. My high school transcripts are in storage so it took weeks to get them.
No idea what OU is. If you list a college on the application they will require a transcript. They will not proceed with your application until they have received all transcripts. You'll have to get the transcript evaluated. WES isn't the only option though. Academic advisors can't help you until you're an enrolled student. They also do not process transcripts and don't have control over how courses transfer.
