But if you recall me asking for software advice back in October, it's that class. At one point, it took her 15 days to respond back to me. Waiting for professor response was not something I had considered when I started----I'm so glad I didn't need much interaction with the other professors. I can't imagine how long it would take to finish. I remember asking on here if it was doable to finish so and so many courses in a session, I was only thinking about how much time I could put in. I never factored the possible wait time.
I am so glad this is my last course. I think if international students mainly go for a liberal studies degree and get courses with mainly exam as a final, they'd be fine--but there could also be a case of a question/answer error which I also ran into and it took that professor (a different one) 14 days to respond.
If you've waited a few days, you're not putting anyone on blast. They're supposed to reply within 3 days.
Less than 1/4 of classes have exams. I'm in the new Marketing Concentration and holy cow are the assignments long! I've never had such long Final Assessments before. One had a paper and a 12-15 minutes PowerPoint with voiceover.
I had a final a week ago with a paper and a 20 slide PowerPoint w/voiceover. FA instructions wanted information that I was unable to include in the paper on the presentation---that was a bit tough without sounding like I'm rambling on and on and then I go back and listen to my presentation and I sound like an infomercial----"But wait, there's more!" I'm kidding, I really didn't say that. lol

Is anyone taking Programming for Managers? I've just started the final using Visual Studio and I'm totally confused. The material in the class doesn't cover everything you need to know for the final. I've tried watching Youtube videos, but still confused. If anyone has any tips, please let me know.

A friend found the following videos (video playlist) helpful.
"Visual Basic Tutorials Playlist": https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL...A22187BBF1
User is "thenewboston": https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJbPGza...bqV-D5HqKw
Here's a link to one of the videos. You can click on the user and then search "Visual Basic Tutorial" to find the playlist.
"Visual Basic Tutorial - 106 - Car Part 1 Creating The Car Class" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3_Gw7cyVks
Start as far back at the beginning as necessary, depending on your programming knowledge.
There are some you can skip that aren't relevant to the assignment, but a great many are helpful.
It starts with basic programming and then goes through a project with cars that teaches concepts you can use in your project.
If you have a friend who knows how to program and can tutor you, then that will be very useful right now.
In the meantime, I highly recommend these videos. The version he uses isn't exactly the same, but it's close.
There are a lot of videos so if you can keep up with the material, watch them on double speed.

I didn't want to create a new thread for such a simple question.
Out of curiosity, after we finish, how long do we have the UMPI .edu email for?

Don't know. I still have mine. I know I'm an UMPI student again, but mine remained active after I graduated in March.

All of my grades are in. The degree probably won't confer anytime soon because of the break. But when it does, how would I know? Does it state it in the Student Center or anywhere else or MaineStreet?

It takes a few weeks. It will show up in your MaineStreet account once it does. You'll also get your diploma in the mail.
