Does anybody know if UMPI provides a tracking number when shipping diplomas and transcripts?

No. It goes in the mail. Regular first class mail. You can view your transcripts in your MaineStreet account.

Thank you . My degree was conferred 2 days ago and it shows as completed in my MaineStreet account. I ordered 2 copies of the transcripts, one for me and one for the Law school that I will be attending, but there was no info about shipping method or tracking number. Hopefully it gets here soon.

This is exciting to hear. I assumed we had to wait until the end of term before degrees are conferred. I will be done this afternoon and just waiting on grades. If my degree gets conferred before the end of December I will be thrilled.

You will need to wait till the end of the term unless you ask for it.
I only had three classes to complete on my last session, so I asked my professors to post my grades, and once they did, I asked Jessica to get my degree conferred. She then asked the registrar’s to grant it. Everyone at UMPI was very kind and helpful.

It can be a few weeks before things are mailed to you. You'll get multiple packages with different things. They come from different people at UMPI. 

Your transcripts for the Law school are probably electronic if you requested them through one of the transcription services like Parchment. You didn't need to request a paper transcript for yourself. You get a free unofficial one once your degree is conferred. They mail it to you.

Typically, yes you have to wait for the term to end for your degree to be conferred. Grades aren't due until the Friday AFTER the term ends so you probably won't have them soon. You may be conferred by the end of December depending on how busy they are. There's a few weeks left in December after the term ends.

No one has a record of your degree. UMPI has the record. UMPI also uses an electronic transcription service. It won't be sent until your degree has actually been conferred. You'll get an email with a PDF unless you paid for a printed copy. Give it some time!

That seems totally doable. I also only had threes classes as well and two are from the same professor. They will likely all be cooperative. I still have to wait for Study.com to finalize my Spanish 2 grade and send the transcripts.

**Just a rant** Anybody here ever get Noah Winslow? Evidently I'm never understanding his milestones questions the first time and we end up going back and fourth a million times just to answer it the way he wants. I honestly have felt like I've answered the question but then he has so many other follow up questions. If he was clear the first time then perhaps there wouldn't be so many back and fourth. I had him last term and I'm dreading him this term. The worst part is he sometimes takes days to respond. While I understand that they have up to 3 days to get back to you, he should also understand that we only have 8 weeks and I have other courses.

What class is he teaching? Many of the courses aren't written by UMPI professors. They were written by Brandman University or Strut which is the learning platform company.

Keep working on your other class while you wait. Some people don't realize that you can work on 2 classes at a time.

Business Analytics and Strategic Fundamentals. I'm working on 2 courses at a time now since the wait has been so long this time around compared to Fall 1. Maybe it's the time change or the weather causing the slower response time? SMH. I don't know but this dude's got me dreading putting my FA together for fear that I'm misreading what he really wants. He literally has me questioning my ability to understand plainly written English.

I had him for Business Analytics last session , but I had no issues.
