I'm curious too. It won't be us reporting in, my son won't start the second until he's done with the first, and I've got the first one spread out over a whole month.

I'm signed up for multiple classes with the free course code... just finished one (taking the ID verification milestone in a few days) and will be completing a couple more, so I can do the ID verifications all on the same day; I'll report back and let you guys know whether I end up getting credit for all of them. If so... I'm signed up for quite a few more, I'll just say that! Wink

If taking more than one course, I would be concerned about the following listed in the rules:

"Registration for a Sophia course through this promotion constitutes:... your full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding... b. Any user who fails to satisfy these Official Rules will be required to pay full price for the course. c. Limit one free course per person. Subsequent courses will require full payment at then-current rates."
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

If the issue is pushed, I would say that -- regardless of the fine print -- Sophia doesn't have a leg to stand on, because their registration process allows the user to input the code multiple times. In fact, the code is AUTOMATICALLY applied to ALL courses in your basket, so you actually don't even have an option to pay for the other courses. Since you have to be logged in to a registered account in order to register for a class and use the code, Sophia should be able to prevent multiple uses of that code. This is an easy countermeasure to implement, and it appears that Sophia has intentionally chosen to allow the code to operate in this manner.

The only way that I could see Sophia having a legitimate case would be if a user created multiple accounts in order to circumvent the limitation.

Additionally, since Sophia doesn't have any billing information on file, the best they can do is bill you for it, which you have the option to ignore. It's also not a creditor/debtor type of relationship, so they can't lawfully hit your credit report with it.

Disclaimer: I'm not an attorney, so the above information is essentially useless.

My logic exactly. Preventing the code from being entered multiple times by the same user, as well as making it apply to only one class in the basket, are trivial additions that were overlooked, intentionally or otherwise.
