According to a Sophia learning coach, this requirement was instituted by Capella, so I'm wondering if it'd be verified on Sophia's side (during the I.D. verification) or Capella's side (when applying to Capella).

I got the credit for Project Management applied to my ACE Transcript! I did the i.d. verification thingie, then submitted the course to ACE. A few hours later, I got two emails from Sophia Learning. One of the emails congratulated me on finishing the course and telling me that Capella U had been notified so they can update my transcript (I'm not a Capella student, but whatever, it's free). The second email gave me a coupon code for $50 off my next Sophia Learning course. Fifteen minutes after that, I got an email from ACE that the course had been reviewed, so I logged into ACE and it's on my transcript.

Project Management transfers as MAN-435 and falls under the Business "Management" category.
Wow, so there is no proctored final exam? That is awesome!

The i.d. verification part is the proctored part. It's done with ProctorU. ProctorU checks your identification and then has you take a 25 question test from Sophia Learning - but all 25 questions are questions that you previously encountered and answered correctly on the four Milestones. Yes, only the ones you got right, not the ones you missed. Plus, you get to use the Sophia Learning website with all the tutorial videos to help you, and you only need a 50% or higher to "pass" this section. This final section does not actually count towards the overall grade, but you must have a 70% or higher score in the rest of the course (the 70% is the minimum passing score) in order to access this final section. I don't remember how much time was allowed, but even with re-watching several of the videos, it was still so much more time than needed that I didn't even bother to watch the clock.
Overall, very painless. I'm glad I took the course.

Yeah, yeah....the Project Management is on my ACE account! And I just finished Penn Foster Financial Management today and I'm waiting for it to be approved by ACE. Thank you everyone for the help and advice.
