Nice! Looks like that Purdue Global e-mail from the free course is paying off lol!
I thought it was weird that they did not recognize Purdue Global as a university they were aware of. I had to submit a form with their website so Coursera could verify. Strange with as many ads as Purdue Global puts out.

Not that I can tell, but they do have a course match system of equivalencies with entries from, I think it said, 1800 universities.
You find your course matches your university’s and you can probably PLA it.

And here is the Campus Course Match site: https://www.coursera.org/campus-coursematch
They have TESU, COSC, EC, WGU, and SNHU course equivalencies, among many others.
That TESOL certificate from ASU looks pretty awesome.

I accidentally entered @tesu.edu and it accepted that but it didn't like the actual @students.tesu.edu email. It also said that ASU is not a recognized school. (Seriously? ASU has courses/certificates available right now there!) But I got in with my @ivytech.edu address.
The Google IT Support certificate is part of this and it's worth 3 credits at TESU.

I think it has to do with the @student. portion. If it’s just @university.edu I don’t think they have an issue.

Probably. But it's still annoying. At least I got in.

I was able to verify that wgu.edu email addresses work just fine for this program.
Pro tip: If you already have a Coursera account and don't want to delete it to create a second one using your school credentials (since you're not allowed to have multiple accounts per their terms of service) all you need to do is change the email address of your account to match your school email address and then submit the address for verification. Presumably, after your account is flagged you can switch the email address back to your original email address, though I haven't tested that yet myself.
I also discovered that if you try to create a second account with a different email without deleting the first account, it automatically links the new login to your main account. So now I can log in with my wgu.edu email or my primary email and it goes to the same account. However, it didn't flag my account for free access until I switched my email address to the school one in my account settings and verified the email address again.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
