Question: If you fail a FEMA Exam, can you take it again immediately? Didn't want to try it so I am asking here first.
Thanks.

Just took my first two FEMA tests. How long do they take to get graded? I'm used to "instant gratification". Took the tests cold without looking at the study material. Hey, if I can pass without studying...

The email comes anywhere from instantly to about 12 hours after you submit. I'm not sure what causes the lag sometimes.

Well, my question was also answered when I received an email:
Quote:We have received your test submission for "IS-00235" entitled "Emergency Planning ".
Unfortunately, your score was below the level required for successful completion. In order to maintain the integrity of our courses we do not distribute test scores, percentages or questions missed. Our exams are based upon pass/fail criteria with the benchmark for successful completion set at 75%. Feel free to review the course material and take the test again, when you are ready.
If you have further questions, please call us at (301) 447-1200.
Guess I can't just take them blindly. On to the study material...

I was wondering what your outcome would be. I had to go through the material for most of the classes and I have experience in the field.
Enjoy the classes!

Just completed Professional Development Series (PDS) from FEMA. It was actually quite interesting, even though I did the "search through file test taking" approach. Can't wait for my certificate.
