FEMA & Bellevue University Question

Ok, so I just completed the FEMA professional development series today. It was great, because it only took me about 5 hours to review all 7 exams and then enter the answers. What a fun way to spend the day inside due to hurricane Irene! I also have to say that I worked in EMS for 20 years so that combined with my management courses made these fairly easy and quick to do.

My question is, someone posted here a while back that Bellevue university will accept these credits raw. My question is do I have to have them put on an ACE transcript or can I just order a transcript directly from FEMA or EMI? If I can order a transcript from EMI/FEMA, where can I find that information? I'm currently a student at Bellevue and while these won't apply to my degree it would be nice to have them on a transcript. My advisor there isn't much help when I ask questions and I know she won't have a clue what I'm talking about, so I thought I would be better off asking here!

IDK how Bellview accepts them. I am 99% sure that FEMA aren't ACE reviewed. If they were EC and COSC would accept them off an ACE transcript.

FEMA will send out a transcript to anyone you like though. hth

Thanks! Actually, quite a few of the FEMA and NFA courses are ACE approved. I'm not sure all of the professional development series exams are ACE approved though. I just want to make sure I send the correct transcript.

I know some NFA are approved. I am unaware of any FEMA...if true we need to get a list together. That would not be "raw" credit and it should be able to be applied direct to other schools via ACE.

ACE does list some EMI courses through FEMA. I think these are taught in the classroom. ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training

From what I've read here, i think only the Classroom FEMA courses are ACE approved, the online FEMA courses are not... Although, if I'm wrong, i bet more people will be getting their FEMA courses through ACE from now on.

Online course start with IS, and all of the courses listed by ACE start with E, G or S. A cross check with the FEMA site shows these are all classroom based credits.
So no direct ACE credit.
