I am considering either the BSBA from TESU or Bachelors of Business from Excelsior. Excelsior says that credits expire after 15 years which will be the end of this year. When I was looking at TESU I saw that there was a statement that said only 50% of classes could be over 7 years and you had to establish currency of 5 years. How do you establish currency with TESU?
Thanks for any help or suggestions

Which bachelor's degree in business at EC? There's a BPS and BS. They each have different requirements. The BS program has a time limit on ALL business courses. I'm in the process of enrolling in the BPS in Business and Management program right now.
I am exploring both to see which more requirements I already have completed.

The time limit is what made me go for the BPS. I would have had to retake all of my lower level business courses and I'm not interested in repeating them. I already did them and paid for them.

Ok, so for EC's Business degree, only the Business Component has a 15yr expiration date - so English won't be a problem at all.
At TESU, only the courses in the AOS have a 7yr requirement - and even then, you can bring in up to 9cr (I did this). So 9cr can be old, and 9cr have to be new. The Business Core isn't affected by this 7yr requirement.
So I think you are fine either way, with 15yo English courses.

Here's the info and link for EC:
UNDER THE "BUSINESS TRANSFER" SECTION:
- Undergraduate transfer credits require a minimum grade of C-
- Undergraduate business component:
- No time limit on transfer credits for the AAS in Administrative/Management Studies or the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business and Management.
- For other undergraduate business programs, transfer credits must have been earned within 15 years prior to your enrollment.
DOWN BELOW UNDER "WHAT ARE THE TIME LIMITS FOR TRANSFER CREDITS?" SECTION
Some programs place time limits on certain credits to ensure they meet academic standards. However, if you earned credits many years ago, you may benefit by enrolling in Excelsior’s BS in Liberal Arts program, which does not place any time limits on transfer credits.

The 15 years is on the BS in Business and Management and it's the professional courses only not the liberal arts courses. The BPS in Business and Management does not have a time limit. The English will be fine. Mine was from 1993 and transferred no problem.
