I "applied" at Excelsior around the first week of November and had all my transcipts sent to them...I guess they are really backed up or something--still waiting on that eval, I even called them a week ago to ask some questions and they said they were almost done.
How long did they take for you?

It took about six weeks for me to hear anything back from them at all. Their historically crappy service is one of the reasons that I opted to enroll at Charter Oak instead. I've had a pretty good experience at Charter Oak, allthough they are still pretty slow at getting things done. Don't lose hope yet!

It took Excelsior about six weeks, without any holidays, to complete my initial transcript. Since then it takes about 2 -3 weeks to get tests official transcribed.

This is not unusal for them, in fact I went there (the EC campus) just to get my results.
I was actually on vacation upstate at Lake George around the 6th week (the alleged due date).
They didn't even start it yet so it was done then-and-there in a lobby office in around an hour.

I applied around that time as well. I called last week and they said they were about halfway done with the evaluation. I'm starting to get antsy! If I can't enroll before January the psych program will change and I'll lose my remaining tuition reimbursement for this year on the enrollment fee.

I got my evaluation back this morning and they used the NEW psychology requirements on my form! I got home too late to call them, so I'll have to sweat this one until tomorrow.
Has this happened to anyone else?

If the NEW requirements does not take effect until 2007 send them an email and state your challenge NOW!
Then call tomorrow to follow-up.
Good Luck!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how many of my credits transferred. Too bad they're closed today for a staff meeting. I'll have to wait until Monday to call them. Oh, does anyone remember how long it took to get enrolled after the assessment?

If you enroll online it should be a matter of hours, rather than days. Don't know how long it will take if you mail it in. But I figure, as soon as they take your money you're enrolled!
