I was hoping someone could answer a question for me because I know there are a few individuals pursuing a double degree's in business and psychology from Excelsior. If I wish to double major do I have to earn 30 new credits in psychology? I have already completed Intro. Psych., Human Growth, Educational Psych., and Organizational Behavior. These credits are Arts & Sciences credits in my business program but all four can be used in a psychology program as well.

You can be a double-major at EC now? As of sometime last year, that wasn't possible. The practice was you could only acquire one major at a time.

I don't think anyone is working on a double major. Most of the folks are doing Psychology as a second degree. In addition to your first degree, you must have thiry new hours credit.
Since you already have 12 Psych hours, you would need 18 new hours in Psychology and 12 hours in other credits. If the requirements for business are still the same, you will need more upper level Arts and Science credits in Psych than Business.
The requirements have changed since I earned mine and you should always check with your advisor.
