Enrolled Agent. There are also Enrolled Actuaries.
Anyway. OP, I don't know the answer to your question. I would ask your college directly, or consider submitting a PLA documenting the training/knowledge/skills. It would seem that there's overlap with CPA training so, maybe!

If it's not ACE or NCCRS-evaluated, in TESU's database of evaluated certifications, or evaluated for credit by the colleges that have a partnership with TESU, then it will not get credit. This is the response I received at the end of 2014.
Quote:Thank you for providing this information. Unfortunately, the College does not award credit for the IRS Enrolled Agent Special Enrollment exam. I've searched the American Council on Education (ACE) website as well, and it does not appear that they recommend credit for transfer either.

Think it will help me in the long run. Towards my end goal of taking the cpa |
