Enrolled Agent. There are also Enrolled Actuaries.

Anyway. OP, I don't know the answer to your question. I would ask your college directly, or consider submitting a PLA documenting the training/knowledge/skills. It would seem that there's overlap with CPA training so, maybe!

True attending TESU. Thinking it may be a good way to reach my 150 credits that are required to take the CPA which is my end goal

Golden-EYE, perhaps.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.

If it's not ACE or NCCRS-evaluated, in TESU's database of evaluated certifications, or evaluated for credit by the colleges that have a partnership with TESU, then it will not get credit. This is the response I received at the end of 2014.

Quote:Thank you for providing this information. Unfortunately, the College does not award credit for the IRS Enrolled Agent Special Enrollment exam. I've searched the American Council on Education (ACE) website as well, and it does not appear that they recommend credit for transfer either.

Based on this, I assume it would be up to the IRS to seek avenues for possible credit bearing options.

I hope this answers your question.

That's horrible you should get college credits for this test. Too bad. Have you taken the test? Any pointers? I'm really wanting to take it. Think it will help me in the long run. Towards my end goal of taking the cpa
