I spoke with a lady from TESC this morning and she told me i do not need to be enrolled to take TECEPS, that i can login as a nonmatriculating student and register for them. Of course she made it sound super easy.. problem is, i can't figure it out.
I am trying to register for April first term for the Business Policy and Advertising TECEPS, the deadline to register i believe is the 18th..
The college is closed, of course, and I have to wait till Monday the 18TH to call them.
Has anyone done this before and can lend some info?
also, do you think i can register ON the deadline date?

You can still register on the 18th without falling under late registration fees.
You can register for a TECEP as a non-enrolled student, but I do not believe you can do it online through Student Services.
TECEP Registration
Call the Registrar tomorrow between 11AM-3PM Eastern to register by phone. You'll need to pay at the time of registration. Once you register for the TECEP, print, complete, and fax the Proctor Form they'll email within a few days (call if you do not get that email) and send it back to the Office of Test Administration. Once OTA confirms your proctor selection and test date, focus on study and test taking.

Thank you for the info!
It makes sense that you cannot register through the Student Services, because i spent 2 hours dissecting every link on there to try to get it to work, unfortunately the lady @ TESC told be over the phone that I just register like that online, so who knows what she was actually talking about. I will have to call tomorrow. Hopefully it all works out.
My goal is to register for both Advertising and Business Policy and take them both within April, allowing 1-2 weeks study for each. Fingers Crossed on this one, Ive heard both good and bad about Teceps!
For the TECEPS, I should be good with the required textbooks prior edition? The only difference i see between the, for example, 7th and 8th edition in a few hundred $$$. I'd recon its the same material and concepts.

Call throughout the day and be ready to be on hold or call back. A month ago, on the last day of registration, it was a pain for me getting through. Was on hold at times upwards of 30 minutes. Not sure if it was just me or if they're usually that busy on the last day of registration. So, just I thought I'd throw that out that and let you know (so you don't call an hour before closing or something and end up having a heck of a time getting in).
Small side note, the Business Policy TECEP has been renamed Strategic Management.
And yeah, the only difference between the editions are going to be the price tag. Especially for TECEP purposes.

I asked the same question and this is the answer I got from TESC -
The first step in this process will be to complete and submit the undergraduate application. You will find the application by logging onto our website at
College Education for Adults at Thomas Edison State College and following the Admissions link to the Apply Online Today link to the Create an Account and Apply Today link. Please make certain to indicate non-matriculated on your information for proper processing
of your application and to avoid paying the application fee.
Once your application has been processed you will receive notification that will include your college id. You may then register for courses by calling 609-633-0242.
In the interim, you may speak directly with an admissions counselor for guidance with our programs and your goals by calling our office toll-free at 1-888-442-8372.

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun. Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior. And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.
