I have English 1 from previous college but need English 2 to complete my degree at TESC. Is there a way to just take the English 2 part of CLEP? If not, what would be the fastest/easiest/cheapest etc. way to complete Eng 2? If I had to take the full English CLEP how would that affect my credits since I already have English 1?
Thanks

If you took the CLEP, it would essentially nullify your English 1. It would show up as duplicate credit in your TESC transcripts. However, it would still be the cheapest way to meet the requirement, in my opinion.

It won't nullify the English 1 course the OP already took, but yes they will have duplicate credit that won't count - as well as finishing the English 2 requirement. I had the same thing but for English 2. TESC will take courses over exams usually for the transcript unless you received a D or below like I did in English 2 (not a great semester I guess). Still, I'd agree that taking the CLEP is the fastest and cheapest way to knock out the remaining course requirement.
