Good point, Al2010x, I didn't know you could request assessments from the master account; I just studied until they threw on at me.

Did they apply your Intro to Statistics to your Gen Ed credits? Can Intro to Statistics count as a Ged Ed Credit?
I liked ALEKS as frustrating as it can be to have to re-do things you already know, it forces you to move along at a pace that you are sure to understand the topic. I didn't even need more credit, but I had ALEKS for another month, so for 20.00, you can't beat the cost of learning! With ALEK's you will learn. You might want to throw something at your computer, but you'll learn Al2010x Wrote:I personally liked ALEKS, in less than 6 weeks I completed Pre-Algebra, College Algebra, Intro to Statistics and Pre-Calculus. If you make a mistake and ALEKS adds the topic back to your pie then practice few more topics and request an assessment from the master account. if you get greater than 69.5% they will round it to 70% so in that case you have passed the subject and good to request ACE credit through ACE website. For just about $40 I managed to get 12 credits that you cant beat by any other means. Your goal is to master all those topic that you find easy first, and then start attacking harder ones keeping track of your % completion.
