Has anyone purchased a change of exam type during the Black Friday sale?
I bought the "Methodology of Evaluation: Type Test" and selected three master's programs to switch to a final exam. Today, I received a letter stating that this is not possible, and I must choose only one program.
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
I did in 2023. At the time, when you purchased the final exam you had to choose if you were buying for 1, 2 or 3 Masters. I seem to recall that 3 Masters cost around $300 USD on the 2023 Black Friday sale.

I never received the apostilled physical diplomas that I ordered on September 10th, so I sent them a question today.
My physical diplomas took 11 months to arrive (after I completed the courses via the exam method).

Also, was the ECE course-by-course report enough, or do you have another Bachelor's that you submitted along with the ENEB evaluation?
Did you read the two links I posted about the program a few messages ago? It discusses this. The information isn't on their main website as it's not marketed towards Americans where the school is located, and the information on the other website (I forget the name of it) is region-locked. So you will have to use a VPN to access it.

For people in the U.S. who have a master's degree from ENEB and don't have a bachelor's degree, how do you list this education on your resume?
Do you list it as:
"Bachelor's Degree Equivalent – Master in XYZ"
or simply as
"Master in XYZ"?
I’m considering purchasing access to ENEB's master's for my partner, who doesn’t have a bachelor’s degree. A traditional route to earning a bachelor’s would take too much time. Afterward, we plan to have the degree evaluated by ECE to obtain documentation of its equivalency to a bachelor’s degree.
TIA!

What is the motivation for getting it evaluated? If it's just for employment, most employers will not care about FCE or even know enough to ask for one. Lots of people study abroad and list foreign education on their resume without question. Also, is there a reason why you want ECE when other evaluators in the US will see it as a Masters?
I'm not sure if my tone is coming across properly here but I don't mean any type of rudeness, just asking because you might be planning to spend money unnecessarily.
I list mine as Master in XYZ and MBA from Isabel, because that's what the diplomas will say.

You are fine. I understand your concern. I don’t want to spend an extra $200+ if I don’t have to either.
It will mainly be for employment purposes. The reason I was considering an FCE is that it might seem odd to have a master’s degree without holding a bachelor’s. I work in higher education, so I’m aware that some colleges abroad accept students without a bachelor’s degree into master’s programs if they have sufficient professional experience. However, I’m concerned that HR at generic companies might not understand that.
That said, if you haven’t encountered any issues with it, I’ll probably skip the FCE.

I've never had an employer ask about my degrees. I would just list the masters only. Don't do something like list an associates and then masters lol. My husband was the same way before finishing his BSBA at TESU. He's worked in some big name companies across 4 countries and none of them cared about education. It's just a box to check. Now that he has the BSBA and MBA and another Masters, nothing has changed. Nobody is asking him about it.
If your partner gets asked about it, you can always agree to pay for FCE upon employment offer if it's a really good job. Or if you wanna be extra, you could always wait for a sale and get 2 Masters, evaluate one through ECE (or whoever will say it's a bachelors) and evaluate the other through Validential (sp?) so it's a recognized masters.
Honestly though, just do the masters, add it to the resume, and see how it goes. If they ask for proof, cross that bridge when you get there. It's a legitimate degree.

While speaking on evaluations, I went on and had a pre-evaluation done for ENEB from ERES and they gave me an equivalency of a US non-accredited Masters degree. This is the same result that was given from WES over a year ago before they stop evaluating ENEB. I will be adding this result to the ENEB wiki page.

"Master in XYZ"? I would list it as just a "Bachelor's in X". People want your resume to be short and "not confusing", a lot of hiring managers and interviewers know nothing about academia and quite a few don't even work in the field they're hiring people for. Most employers aren't going to ask to even see the ECE evaluation, nor the ENEB degree or transcript, but if they do require a degree equivalency report (as I had to have for my teaching license), most of them won't even look at your original degree because it's useless to them, they are just going to glance at that report to see what the US thinks you have to ensure you fill their mandatory hiring qualifications.
Also you need to keep in mind that ECE evaluations expire after a few years and the turnaround time is within a week I believe. So you should either just apply for an evaluation as soon as an employer says they actually want one, or you should order a new evaluation every few years to keep an unexpired copy on hand. The risk is always that in the future ECE stops evaluating ENEB degrees as a bachelor's and you suddenly can't order an evaluation anymore, but any old copy you had on hand would still be valid for a few years.
Not all the NACES members have been tested with ENEB degrees and I also don't know about the expiration dates of all FCEs. I know Validential never expires but they're not NACES. It could be there is an untried NACES member which has a longer expiry date or never expires.

Ignoring that some people (including me) think it's fishy to have gotten a Master's without a Bachelor's, there are a lot of state licenses you can get which require a finished regionally accredited Bachelor's in most states. Two examples are a public school teaching (or substitute teaching) license and a Certified Public Accountant license. Some of these licenses very specifically do NOT accept a Master's in lieu of a Bachelor's. They also only accept certain FCEs, and the ones equating ENEB to a Masters aren't accepted. And they are ones that will require evaluations for hiring.
Also, I have had employers verify my degrees, but it was always for teaching jobs (even ones that didn't require licenses, like ESL assistant teaching in Asia), or for jobs getting me work visas to go abroad. My current job will have me evaluate my degree indirectly as the state has to approve it before I can get licensed as a tax assistant but they didn't verify it during the actual hiring process. Most people are not in those situations.

Are ENEB final projects that simple ?
I am going for the "MBA – MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION + MASTER IN FINANCIAL MARKETS AND ASSET MANAGEMENT" program and quite frankly, in less than 30 minutes I can get a final project done for a course, and there are about 20 in total...
Is it really just a matter of completing what's on the .doc and submit and wait ?
TIA

If I do it later it will just be for my own personal fulfillment.
Now you've got me worried lol. Does the test method evaluate differently than the traditional route? Maybe I missed something...
Cool & interesting at the same time... Where are you now? In regards to the agile test option, the evaluation should be the same, I don't recall any changes, there was a post earlier mentioning Validential evaluations may not be as favorable for some states education departments (for teaching purposes), other than that, the recommended NACES options on the WIKI should still be valid.
I'm in Denmark now, looking to either go to Germany or back to Japan so I think I'll be okay. Looks like Germany is more favorable to Isabel than to TESU according to the anabin database lol. I don't see myself going to North America any time soon, but if I did I'd probably try Quebec and go for another passport.
I would love to know if anyone knows whether Japan immigration could grant entry for a work visa (Gijinkoku) with an ENEB/Isabel diploma. wait, can I even enroll in ENEB without a bachelor's degree to back it up tho? I dropped out of college a long time ago, unfortunately

You should just try it. It doesn't cost anything to have a company try to get you a work visa. Make sure you buy the apostilled version and submit it to the potential employer. If it fails, that sucks but now you know. Don't bother with any company that tells you to do your own initial visa paperwork. There are literally thousands that will do it for you and they're good at it because they do it all the time. Just shoot your shot.
