Regarding: Request for Consideration to Audit for "Convalidada" Award for MBA Courses - USA XYZ Academy Professional Development Courses or Professionally Recognized Certification Program


Greetings,

Please be advised, I have completed hundreds of training hours related to leadership and management as part of my 30-year American XYZ Career.

I am making a request for ENEB’s consideration of various professional development courses and programs I have successfully completed. Please perform an “Audit” of the attached syllabus from the XYZ Training Course/Professional Development Certification course materials to determine if ENEB will allow any courses related to the ENEB Program (for example program of MBA - Master of Business Administration) program to be audited and awarded “Convalidada.”

The XYZ Training Course/Professional Development Certification course consists of the XYZ Training, Certifications earned, etc., such as, for example:
Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and the Executive Leadership Institute courses. (May add more course or program description may be helpful to determine the course work, such as: Each course is 4½ days long. Attached are the descriptions of modules from the Executive Leadership Institute course, in addition to a list of American colleges willing to award college credit at the graduate level for the XYZ courses).

In comparison to the ENEB programming and the prior study and certification training information I am submitting, I would request consideration be made for "Convalidada" - Name of courses, such as:

Example Courses:
Strategic Management
Personnel Selection
Corporate Social Responsibility
Negotiation Techniques
XYZ
XYZ
(If you can get out of 5 courses and no papers for a program with 13 classes total or 4 courses with 12 classes total, go for it! That's a huge boost right there).

Please let me know if there is anything additional I may be able to do or provide to assist with a determination. (I provided completion certificates, training transcripts, supporting documentation if American colleges will accept and grant academic credit, training syllabus, etc. Also, my Project Management was kicked back once, and I added more information and got two classes waived. My husband went back also for consideration and ended up getting all 5 classes he requested and gave points to support consideration).

Also, if you have more than one degree program, the Convalidada awards will apply to the same courses if required for multiple training programs. Don't be afraid to make this request and advocate for yourself if you can get courses waived for professional development, certifications and licensure. Good luck!!

It's great to see that they have time to send these promotion offers, but don't have time to answer my emails and Whatsapp messages. My final project papers are still not evaluated and nobody is answering what's going on. The papers were sent on July 17 and July 24. Because of this currenty I wouldn't think about using these promotion offers. If they can't answer or evaluate final papers for two months how can they handle even more students...
I would appreciate if someone know how else can I contact them to get evaluation or any answer at all?

I am having the same problem. I turned a paper in last week and received my grade (passing) within a few hours! Meanwhile, I have turned in papers a month ago without any response at all. What is going on over there? Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, just thought you might like to know you are not the only one!

Well I assume that I am not the only one. It would be great to receive any info from them. I have three final papers from three different departments, so it is concerning, not that these assignments aren't evaluated for two months, but the lack of communication from ENEB. How hard and time consuming is to answer on email or Whatsapp when at the same time they have time to attract even more students by sending promotion codes.

The problem is that I don't know who else can I contact to get any info about this. Very very unprofessional.

When following up, do you also copy academy@eneb.com along with reaching out again to the departmental emails where students are to submit each paper?  I did if it was the 3rd request for information.  

Sorry they are not as responsive as before.  I found WhatsApp to be a decent way to contact them--unfortunately it's not working well for you.

I certainly would turn in whatever completions you have and ask for certain courses to be waived and name which ones. Best of luck!!

You're right, thanks MrPanda! I just checked my email from Saylor again and looks like I made a mistake.

Email from Saylor:

"In the meantime, you can actually begin to study much of the material included in the MBA program. Our 600-level business administration courses (for example, BUS601: Financial Management, which you can find at https://learn.saylor.org) are identical in content to our MBA courses and offer only certificates of completion at this time. By studying these courses in the coming months, you would develop knowledge that would help you to succeed later on in the MBA program, once the program becomes fully available for more students."

I'll send my certificates to Eneb and see whether or not they'll accept them.

I certainly would turn in whatever completions you have and ask for certain courses to be waived and name which ones. Best of luck!!  Please see the suggested template I posted just now to request convalidada for classes/certifications that coincide with the ENEB courses.

Hi guys,

I've been following this forum (and others) since several months. As I just recently enrolled in an MBA through ENEB because of the cheap price.

The reason I followed the whole equivalency discussion is because of the following: 

I'm from Belgium and I don't have a Bachelor Degree. UI1 has several partners and one of them Structuralia, offers a master degree in Cybersecurity (60 ECTS titulo propio) I've successfully enrolled and finished it. I had to present my case that I already had several years of IT experience, did study a Bachelor but never finished, and some low ball certs. They admitted me to the program and I've completed it. This master did have a final project (thesis like).

I admitted my documents to NARIC Belgium (I did not have the ui1 degree yet at the moment) After several months this was the status updates:

- Application registered
- Application closed
During the processing of your file, it was determined that your program, educational institution or country was not recognized by the appropriate authorities on the date your diploma was awarded. Your file has therefore been closed. You will soon receive a letter or e-mail with more information.
- Exemption received
- Checking institution and training completed
NARIC-Flanders verified that your training and educational institution are recognized in the country of origin. No problems were found.
- Authenticity check
NARIC-Flanders examines the authenticity of your degree.
(Here they told me that Structuralia side everything was okay and they were awaiting feedback from ui1)

After waiting months for, i decided to contact ui1 myself and asked whether they could just verify if I finished my studies though Structuralia, they replied me "Good afternoon, Mr :

Thank you for contacting us.

First of all, we would like to inform you that the formation given is not part of the academic offer of official degrees and / or degrees of the University Isabel I.

The official degrees (both Bachelor and Master) offered at the University Isabel I, can be found in the RUCT (Register of Universities, Centers and Degrees) and, among them, does not appear the "Master's Degree in Cybersecurity".

Secondly, the University Isabel I signs agreements with external centers, which is what is called "permanent or certified formation" and consists of the following: the external center, in this case, Structuralia, provides studies based on a specific content program developed by them and the University, only, certifies this formation and issues the diploma that is in your possession.

For this reason, we recommend that you contact Structuralia directly so that they can help you with your request too.

In any case, and taking into account the above, we can indicate that S.U., studied and passed these studies with the Structuralia center, being certified by the University Isabel I in the framework of the existing agreement of certification of formation between both entities.

Finally, we would like to inform you that we have not received any verification request from Naric Belgium. In case , they need another verification, they can contact us through certificaciones@ui1.es

I forwarded this mail to NARIC to speed things up, and what happened after? -> NARIC closed my application, even when I've sent my UI1 cert. I sent an e-mail asking what the reason was and they just told me that I will receive more info soon as soon as the supervisor signs the document.

I was very excited to get it recognized as I've read somewhere else another Belgian person had their master in big data from ENEB recognized as a master's. But unfortunately this person just read the part of not being part of official academic offer and closed the application....

So, did the supervisor close the ticket? If it's been closed, get them to reopen it or resubmit another application pointing to the original one... Explain to them that you're looking to have the degree evaluated to see if it's equivalent to a Bachelors or Masters for educational, employment purposes...

Well I assume that I am not the only one. It would be great to receive any info from them. Last week on September 14 I sent an email to academy@eneb.com and got the same day this answer: 

"I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to sincerely apologize for the delay in submitting your grades. I understand how important it is to receive feedback on your performance, and I apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused. At ENEB, we strive to ensure the timely delivery of grades to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your progress. However, we have recently encountered unexpected challenges with a backlog of work that our tutors are diligently addressing. Rest assured; we are working relentlessly to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Our tutors have been encountering an unusually high volume of student submissions coupled with several unforeseen circumstances. However, I want to assure you that our faculty and support staff are fully committed to resolving this matter promptly. We are allocating additional resources and actively exploring alternative solutions to streamline the grading process, thus ensuring a more efficient and timelier turnaround. We truly value your dedication to your studies, and we apologize for any stress or uncertainty this delay may have caused. Please understand that this situation is atypical and not reflective of our usual standards of service. We are confident that our tutors will complete grading and provide you with your results within the next week. In the meantime, if you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at academy@eneb.com. This week, till today, still haven't got any evaluation.

In ENEB community forum students are also complaining.

I hope that everything is ok with ENEB, because I don't understand these new promotion activities when they are "encountering an unusually high volume of student submissions coupled with several unforeseen circumstances"...

We got the basic Validential evaluation done, just the degree equivalency, which they did classify as a RA Masters on my husband's last ENEB degree.  No GPA or translated transcript, but everything else included in the evaluation packet that is included in the packet with the translated transcript.

Transcript isn't really necessary for what my husband is in need of.

The ticket is closed but I am still awaiting their final feedback. The handler told me she had to wait for it to be signed and in the final document they will explain everything. I will ask them to reopen it.

I'm not sure if it's my mail that made them close it or if I honestly pissed off the handler. Because UI1 told me in their mail that NARIC Belgium did not contact them (which I believe since I got a reply from ui1 after a day and Naric was waiting for weeks....) I then went ahead and highlighted that part in the mail as well and soon after my ticket was closed..... 

I need to wait for their closing document and see what the reason is for the closure.

I'm slowly working through the Project Management Program with ENEB, and I have a few questions.

1. The quizzes for each module are scored but I don't see anything in the syllabus that states what a passing score is.
2. Can I take a quiz over again if I scored lower than I wanted to? I don't currently see any way yet.

From what I have heard from other members, the quizzes do not count.  The only grade that matters is your case study for each course.  I don't think you even have to complete all of the quizzes throughout the course to pass the course although those quizzes can help develop points to cover in your case study.

The quizzes are not graded. You could simply skip it all and go right to the paper if you want.
