I am thinking about just upgrading by trying to transfer my ENEB credits and completing a low-cost top-up MBA in the UK. I am not sure if it's really worth my time in practice since the MBA doesn't have a big impact on my career trajectory, but I don't want to be associated with UI1 if this goes through and FCEs start doubting the program's rigor because some students took a backdoor.

I don't think the new news will have a significant impact on the foreign credential evaluations (i.e. FCE) this year. If you already have a FCE from Validential, it is valid forever because the company states on its website that their evaluations do not expire. If you don't have a FCE from Validential, I'd suggest that you get one sooner than later.
If you already started your studies, I'd suggest to finish them by the end of this year. I'd suggest to list the degree as "Universidad Isabel 1" instead of "ENEB" on text document resumes or LinkedIn profiles because any prospective employer can verify the validity of the applicant's degree on the Universidad Isabel's website.
For private sector jobs, I don't think graduates should worry. If any employer wants to verify the degree, they can verify it on the Universidad Isabel's website or view your Validential FCE.

I have enrolled for the ENEB exam methodology for the Big Data course.
From my perspective, I have a masters in Engineering from the UK and will shortly be starting a doctorate via upgrade so I am not overly concerned about ENEB reputation.
For me ENEB was a useful route to pick up some inexpensive business knowledge that was also certified.
I will update this thread if I receive further correspondence.

Since I am using ENEB for personal study, I would be happy to have an exam option. Unfortunately, it seems that this is not available to everyone. I did not get an email like this and I see no mention of it when I log in.

Just a heads up for anyone using Validential to get their ENEB/Isabel 1 degree evaluated. They've changed the way they allocate credits per classes/overall credits. They now state each class is only worth 2.31 US credits, as opposed to what they used to evaluate them as (3.00 per class).
If anyone still plans on using them for an FCE, it's cheaper to wait until you have two or more degrees.
Unfortunately, I feel like I got hosed today. They told me via email last week, and it's also listed on the website, that any additional degree evaluations for post-secondary course by course evaluations are only $99.00. They changed this on me today when I tried to get my second degree evaluated, and now want to charge me the full price. They say the $99.00 fee for additional degree evaluations is only good if you order it in the same order as your first evaluation. When I asked for clarification because that's not what I was told and submitted screenshots, the manager stated it's because their system won't recognize the $99.00 additional order and will be entered as a new order. WTH?

Validential has always valued the credits at 2.31; unless requested to match the US 3.0 format, that is how your transcripts will show. All you have to do is request the US 3.0 value, and there are several transcripts online (in this forum) if you need to provide examples of them granting this request. Knowing this, I requested it on the front end and had zero pushback.

Hmm, I was under the impression from Ashkir and Michael that Validential initially evaluated theirs as 3.0 per class without them asking for any revisions? Validential even said it was a recent change they implemented. When I asked Validential about why mine was evaluated as 2.31 per class and mentioned to them that they evaluated others as 3.0, they refused to change it to 3.0 per class.
So, they allowed it for yours, yet wouldn't change mine?

I can't speak on Ashkir as I don't recall; however, Michael is included in the thread mentioning the request and how at first, there was a charge request for the revision that was later waived.
There was no issue with the request or fee for me. Did you approve the valuation and now are asking for a revision? I could see them holding their ground in that case. Don't take no for an answer and escalate it; I am optimistic they will approve it.

I must have missed that post from Michael.
When they sent me the evaluation for approval, I returned it for revision, and noted that others were evaluated as 3.0 per class, and asked why mine was only evaluated at 2.31 etc. They returned it to me without revision, refused to change it to 3.0 per class, and told me they changed how they evaluated. I emailed another department about it and they never got back to me. What's done is done, but after misrepresenting the price they quoted me and that's listed on their website for an additional evaluation, and shaving off credits for me, but giving other students proper credit, I'm not happy with them.

Stuff happens, sometimes it really is out of your control and you should go up the chain of command to get your voice heard, you may want to review this thread, I would recommend both email the person and private message them as well in regards to the issue at hand, they may be able to investigate further for you: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid382257
Note: There was another evaluation agency that is a NACES member, they evaluated the credit as 2.5 each course, one of our members asked to have it revised and they got it done for 3 credits each without an additional fee. I rather have it done from a NACES or AICE member instead of Validential if at all possible, you may want to review the ENEB WIKI (on my signature) to see which evaluation agency may be better.
