Maybe what Validential meant by the 'transcript' is the thing that you see at the back of the Universidad Isabel I's own degree diploma where you have the full listing of all the courses that were taken during the Master program (the awarded ECTS credits are seen on the first page of the degree). I suppose that could be treated as a substitute for the ENEB transcript, the one that features your full grades. They would have access to that, if they saw the Universidad Isabel I degree diploma. I thought this as well at first. But after more consideration, they had to take the ENEB transcript because there would've been no other way to calculate letter grades and a GPA since the Isabel diploma doesn't list grades.

eLearner,
They most likely saw two "transcripts" (if one wants to call the back of the degree course listing a '"transcript", but I think that there is some justification for that). I am not saying that Validential did not have access to the ENEB transcript. That document was likewise required to do the calculations, as you pointed out. I am just saying that I could see how they could have easily referred to Universidad Isabel I degree diploma when they mention its transcript. There is just no need to say that Validential was lying in this instance. Since ENEB is just an affiliated training institution, I also don't see the explicit need to mention ENEB on the evaluation sheet, since that was also raised as an issue here.

Validential will only evaluate accredited institutions. ENEB alone would only be considered the training institution component and alone would not be recognized. I actually like the name "Validential" because it seems to indicate that this company is in favor of not just equating a foreign degree to a US degree but giving a little more leeway to schools that have programmatic accreditation but are not fully recognized institutions or in Isabel I's Propio cases the exact opposite where you have an accredited institution that certifies a program like ENEB that is not recognized/accredited by itself.
This is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing because it gives those schools or programs who lacks some accreditation (not all) a way to get their degrees recognized. It's a bad thing however because it compromises colleges with full recognition. Isabel I/ENEB was built for the private industry and other broader industries who are OK with quality education without being a stickler about the level of accreditation or recognition. If the Propio degree is used with the same intention in the US/UK/Canada as it would be used in Spain outside of public administration, government, and university positions, these foreign credential evaluations may likely be inconsequential in the jobs one could obtain. At the same time, Validential seems to be made for programs that need that push for recognition as well as to sway an employer or school who is likely to want a more conservative evaluator (ie. WES) to give full recognition to a foreign degree.

The year is about 5.4 billion CE. The sun is bright in the sky, about 50% larger than it is today and much ruddier. Humans have long since abandoned Terra, whether having spread to the far reaches of the universe and evolved beyond their meat bodies, or having exterminated themselves in their hubris, it is unknown. Mountains have turned to dust, been created, and turned to dust again.
Yet still, in a forgotten corner of the infosphere, AIs argue amongst themselves on the legitimacy and benefits of ENEB, and where to go evaluation shopping. Some things never change.

Well maybe if accreditation wasn't such a big deal and how things are recognized globally, it wouldn't be such a big issue. The issue comes from the globalization of education and the politics behind it. As long as we are connected to different ways of doing things we haven't encountered before with varying opinions, it won't change!

Hmmm, I'm not sure who said they were lying, but I didn't read every post so I may have missed it.

Depends on who is evaluating. Some evaluators have listed ENEB.

Any good news for eneb is good news for me. But we all know that eneb is delivering it own degrees not ui1 degrees . For example Kennedy college delivery degrees for other accredited institutions in the uk. This is also very big in the Caribbean where non accredited institutions may deliver accredited university degrees. In Africa, unicaf delivery it own degrees plus other accredited university programs. I think, these programs are very clear to understand with no confusion. Some universities in Africa may delivery unisa degrees.

I've just made a resolution that I will refuse to comment on any further threads about Universidad Isabel I/ENEB on this board.

I hadn't heard of Validential before this, but a little research shows that they have some good University and state acceptance history. That may not seem like much, but most non-NACES and non-AICE members claim to have that but provide zero proof and searching it up usually shows no results. Depending on where you live and what school you're going to, this might be your first stop for this type of degree program. But in general, a NACES member evaluator is your best bet from an acceptance standpoint.
All of that being said, there are quite a few evaluators outside NACES and many of them have been around a long time. To do that, they have to be providing a product that's working for more people than not, and I've read a few times how people have submitted evals from lesser-known evaluators before being asked upon application and getting through that way. There are plenty schools that may be more rigid, but you never know until you're in a position to try.

Call me cynical! I find it intriguing that we have this misleading headline from a senior moderator” Foreign Academic Evaluator Says ENEB MBA = USA RA Accredited MBA” ENEB should be replaced with Ui1 because there nowhere in the unofficial valuation is ENEB mentioned only Ui1. So we dismissed a known entity as WES and then esteem an unknown entity Validential. I will definitely go with Validential because it seems to have a lower standard but that is not the point.
