I'm okay with the greed part, they just need to do it right, lol. They're doing things with this that work in other systems thinking it will work here, too, and they're setting themselves up for a big fall. The evaluations aren't the the end-all-be-all but I can assure you that if they make too much noise in the wrong way evaluators are going to slam the door and eventually word will get around the country just enough to make people stay away whether they fully understand the situation or not.

Validations without transcripts from the validating school is another way to cause a blowup, because students who don't know the system will try to use it for transfer and employment and get a big surprise, and guess who those students are going to be looking back at in anger? ENEB.

Well, it looks like there is another issue. According to ENEB, this MCA diploma does not carry it's own transcript. There is no way another school will ever accept that, so I can only assume that ENEB is doing this deal while not being fully aware of how the American education system works. American schools will want to see transcripts. You can't just show up to a school with a diploma and get accepted. Some other countries may allow that, but not in the United States, at least not under normal circumstances.

This would've been a good idea if an MCA transcript was included with it, without it it's just a trophy that you won't be able to do anything with. It's harmless, but it's also practically worthless. They say the promotion is ending on March 31st. They need to cut that today instead of waiting until the 31st, but after that they need to not do that again and work on learning a little more about how the American system operates. I understand they will make some mistakes because they are not from here and don't understand it all, but being in the American market they could wind up making some mistakes that could cause them to get blacklisted by evaluators. They have to tread lightly.

I don't think that's referring to the same context. That appears to be referring to degrees studied for and earned directly with MCA, not through the ENEB partnership deal. Here is what ENEB said to make me believe that (see question #3):

There's a sale on at Groupon so I asked them if you're enrolled in a bachelor's program can you enroll for their master's.

ENEB is a totally Spain-based company. They are just doing programs in English for the English-speaking market. Unlike in the United States, in a number of other countries it's accepted to go straight to a master's without a bachelor's degree. Heck, it's customary in many other countries to have 3-year bachelor's degrees instead of the American 4.

The only real issue with the admission requirement for them is that it could hurt their standing with American foreign degree evaluators. One already made a deal of them accepting 3-year bachelor's degree holders and that was a nonsensical gripe.

I would just forget that MCA was even mentioned, stick with Universidad Isabel I and leave it as that. If MCA has any utility at all, then I suppose having that addition before March 31st would be ideal, otherwise, nothing lost or nothing gained with knowing they have partnered with MCA and leaving it off the resume or CV...

With an MCA transcript, this would've been a great idea as I initially spoke on before I received word that there is no transcript. That caught me be surprise because I couldn't fathom doing it that way. Without the transcript, I can't see any utility with the ENEB-MCA deal in the United States because what school will take a diploma with no transcript? What will a person do if/when an employer asks for a transcript? I just think the people who came up with that don't have a full grasp on how the system works here.

ENEB needs to scrap that entirely and never do it again.

Just curious has anyone been able to get their transcripts from this school evaluated by a US evaluation company ? I been slowly reading some of the post but haven't quite found an answer yet. I saw a groupon for this program and was wondering if anyone completed a masters degree and got the transcripts evaluated to be equivalent to a United States masters degree?
