Are you a paid member of IC? I posted my tips in the specific exams feedback. What it boils down to is exactly what the Exam Content Guide says:
Quote:In order to be successful with this exam, you should be thoroughly familiar with these texts, so that you can locate material at the most detailed level of the outline.
If you want a B, I'd say be familiar with the concepts and you are fine. If you want an A, there is NOT A SINGLE DETAIL that should be considered insignificant. Memorize just about everything that you can about each ethnic group: half of Dominican families are headed by women, 10% of Middle Easterners are Christian, the Battle of Wounded Knee killed hundreds of Sioux Native Americans in 1890... the first wave of Cuban immigrants was more educated than the second, the difference between the ethnic makeup of each wave of Jewish immigrants etc. etc. etc. ridiculously minute details like that. It only is a small portion of the exam, but you need it for that A (if I had gotten maybe 1 or 2 more questions wrong, my grade would have been a B).
