Hello All. I am starting an MBA program in about two weeks. My school requires coursework to be done on Windows 7 or later. Problem is, my family weened itself off windows two years ago and is using a variety of other systems in our devices (Mac, IOS, android, ubuntu). The school did offer a free virtual environment for mac systems, but my mac is a desktop and they also required it be a laptop. I was stuck with either buying Windows OS or a new cheap laptop just for school. Then I thought, geez, if the DoD has a program where I get MS Office for cheap ($9.95), my school has to have something similar. That's where I discovered the site below:
Download Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro for FREE | OnTheHub
My school was a partner and I was able to download Windows 10 for free.
I checked for the big three on there also. Excelsior and Charter Oak both have free OSs also, I believe the "education" version. TESC unfortunately did NOT.
Check the link and see if your school is there, there was also other links with free or discounted software.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
