Regarding PDFs, I really miss Google Desktop. The ability to search for a specific string of text in a collection of hundreds of PDFs was awesome. I wish someone would make some comparable tool for searching through PDF libraries.

It does, but it's indexing service isn't as fast or efficient as google desktop's was.
