Drug & Alcohol Abuse vs. Substance Abuse
#1
I've read that the Drug & Alcohol Abuse exam was replaced with the Substance Abuse exam with the new grading system. Does anyone know if the material has changed? Or was it just the name and the grading system?

Please advise, I want to retake it so I can get a higher score. I need an "A" so my GPA doesn't go down.

I took the exam yesterday under the current name. The pass rate was 49, but most schools prefer 50. I managed to get a 57 just from using IC.

I was told from Ed Office that they just updated it, and put in more current drugs steroids, MDMA, and some party drugs.

But all in all it is the same exam.

I took the paper based "Beta test" on this a few weeks ago. I got my results in the mail in 2 weeks with a score of 450. I think if you don't have a background in pharmacy or any kind of medicine it might be hard. I used to be a pharmacy tech for walgreens so I just studied illicit drugs on erowid for a few hours and then went through the flashcards the morning of the test and I thought it was a breeze.
I have 18 traditional credits and 51 exam credits. I've passed Introductory Sociology 76, Introductory Psychology 68, A&I Literature 66, Principles of Marketing 76, Introductory Business Law 71, Social Sciences & History 67, DSST Drug & Alcohol Abuse 450, Biology 69, Principles of Management 70, Natural Sciences 64, Intro to Business DSST 70, Principles of Macroeconomics 67, Principles of Microeconomics 58.
