The for profit school had an "advisor" who told them about all the wonderful jobs all their students get when they graduate, and how aid will pay for it all. Just like a car dealer, they don't talk about what it really costs until they have the student hooked and ready to sign. The student either doesn't know that the community college next door teaches the same thing, or they already tried it and failed, so they are looking for something different, not realizing that the for profit school isn't going to be any easier to do, nor do anything more for them.
