Positive Tor College experience
#1
I just wanted to put the good word in for Tor Academy (Tor College Credits - Home). I satisfied my EC Information Literacy requirement with them and it was a positive experience from beginning to end. The first thing you do is sign up and create a user account. Then download some study materials. This simply consisted of a 180 or so page book titled The Information Literacy Users Guide. When you are finished with the book you simply sign up with Proctor U to take the exam. Proctor U was also a good experience. My first time using them.

For all of you at EC, this is a good, inexpensive way to satisfy the Info Lit req. Not sure if Charter Oak or TESU are affiliated. The cost of the course was $125 and an additional $35 went to Proctor U.

TESU should accept their courses through NCCRS. Tor Academy | NCCRS

EDIT: Actually, all the NCCRS say Jerusalem "and other approved locations". I would verify that the online tests count.

Thanks for the review. I have Ethics in Communication approved and planned from Tor College for Excelsior. Not started or even enrolled yet though. I want to get through some CLEP tests and an ALEKS course first.
