Does anyone have a DSST Technical Writing study guide that they could email to me? I am looking for someone's notes that they took while studying for this exam. Thanks.

I didn't take any notes for this one, but I skimmed through Gerald J. Alred's Handbook of Technical Writing, 8th edition and it covered almost everything.

I see you were taking the test March 11- I am hoping to take it this week how did it go? My library does not have the book that everyone keeps referencing Hanbook of Technical Writing and its 45 bucks at the book store....what kind of study guide did you use?

Whatever you do, DON'T GET THE RUDMAN GUIDE. It's AWFUL. Absolutely terrible. Horribly messy and cluttered and hopelessly (as in, pre-computers) out-of-date and unrelated to the test.

So noted..I think I may just have to google search some terms and take my chances and take the test Tuesday as I cant find anything else to really use as a study guide. Thanks for the heads up!
