Hello,
What is the study.com discount everyone is talking about for TESU? I still need some help with my degree plan. I have attached my transcripts and I have since taken free Ethics class through the institutes, SDC Upper level Sociology of Work, SDC Civics American Government and I'm working on Library Science 101 for free elective. How do I know what is considered GE elective? I'm looking at Intro to religion but am open to anything easy to fill those GE elective spots. I just don't want to waste time. Thanks!!
Wow, we're about the same age! Good job, you're so close to finishing the degree in Liberal Arts without a concentration. It seems you're interested in Sociology or a Social Science. You may want to get a BALS with a Social Science concentration and finish the following to hit the LL and UL requirements. Do the cheap TEEX AOJ courses and the Study.com HIS courses below.
From TEEX, these are non proctored, if you want to save cash, skip the 1/2 credit.
FSA116 Foundations of Forensic Photography, 1 credit, $45
FSA118 Foundations of Courtroom Testimony, 1 credit, $45
FSA113 Basic Criminal Investigation, 2 credits, $75
FSA107 Basic Property Technician, 3 credits, $45
FSA115 Foundations of Fingerprint Comparison, 3 credits, $45
FSA114 Death Investigation, 3 credits, $75 - Upper Level

I recommended the course above for your Area of Study, so don't waste them on the General Education or Free electives, as it hits all 3 - Area of Study, General Education, Free electives. Just use the recommended TEEX and Study.com Comm/HIS/Psych courses for the AOS.

Hi bjcheung77, I take the opportunity of this thread to ask you a question.
Do the following courses (that you mentioned) count as free electives towards TESU BACS?
@doom, yes - free electives can be any course. Those 3 course would net you 9 credits. If you need more, you can grab a few from onlinedegree.com as each of them are only $9 for 3 credits. Find those that appeal to you and also do not duplicate what you have taken already, such as the Cooking (LOL) or Robotics course.
