I am super happy and relieved to say I have passed Aleks Intro to Statistics! After just finding out about the "ACE deadline" a few days ago, i signed up and went literally full throttle. I did have some math knowledge of Trig/Pre-Calc from high school (5 years ago), but to be honest it did not really help much, I still only scored about 18% on the first assessment.
Finishing the course by 10/31 was a huge challenge i set for myself.
I started the course on 10/26, and on 10/29, after exactly 24 hours and 26 minutes of math, I scored a 73% on the assessment and got it sent to me ACE transcript!
You really start to "feel it" when spending 8+ hours a day on math :willynilly:
Time to give my brain a break!
And on the even brighter side, this leaves just 1 final class for my BSBA Gen Mngmt degree from TESC!!!! :hurray:
Thank you all for your immediate help and support the minute i got back on board!

Congrats! I'm attempting this course as well, but the hypothesis test questions (didn't get there in the pie yet) and some of the descriptive test questions are throwing me off. Hopefully I'll be able to pass this before the deadline in 2 days.
That happened to me with a few subjects not showing up on the pie chart. What i did was just google the topic and try to understand it, it was a lot harder that way because it was not in the Aleks format, i still got quite a few wrong, but it did help with a few, at least helped me understand what they were asking.

Keep plugging away, and you'll get it! I was able to add Business Statistics to my ACE transcript today. (It duplicates Intro to Stats at some schools but not at COSC.) Don't give up!
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.
I just completed Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences with a 72% using a EXCEL maxdroid stats calc. I am now waiting on ACE to add it to my transcript. After 39 hours of banging my head on my laptop banghead I am finally done!!!
