If you've read post 27 and 28 within my signature, I usually recommend StraighterLine for LL requirements and general education courses and Study.com for UL AOS courses that are ACE recommended for credit, the Study.com NCCRS credits are fine as well. If you would like to test out, then by all means, the MS/CLEP option is the cheapest option, but I chose not to go that route as I live so far from a testing center. Another option that came up recently was the Onlinedegree.com offerings, they're very similar to Study.com's format and I would recommend them for Gen Ed/Free Electives.
