Just so you can see what a TESC major in Communications would look like, here's a way to complete the major requirements. I put the two LSU Independent Study Communications classes in there to help you make a good impression.
The course prefixes at the end of each class are the TESC equivalencies; UL means upper level, and you must have 18 upper level hours in the major (really, in the entire degree) to fulfill degree requirements.
I. Area of Study: Communications (33 hours)
1. Need Straighterline Fundamentals of Speech (COM-108) 3
2. Need LSU CMST 2010 or Penn Foster Interpersonal Communication (COM-330) 3UL
3. Need TECEP Intro to News Reporting (JOU-110) 3
4. Need DSST Principles of Public Speaking (COM-209) 3
5. Need TECEP Technical Writing (ENG-201) 3
