EC is largely, but not entirely, the same for the basic requirements. There are some key differences that make it more difficult to make a generic degree plan, though. For instance, I think that you cannot have an UL and LL class with the same topic. With Psych, EC accepts "Psychology 105: Research Methods in Psychology" from Study.com as a LL course. They also have "Research Methods in Psychology" as an UL UExcel exam. IIRC, you can not bring them both to EC. You can, however, bring them both to TESU.

Depends which provider you like more and currently have membership with, StraighterLine or Study.com
StraighterLine:
https://www.straighterline.com/online-co...velopment/
Study.com:
https://study.com/academy/course/life-sp...ology.html
StraighterLine: Quizzes are 70% of the course, the final is 30%, you can probably pass the course before the final.
Study.com: Quizzes are 33.3% of the grade, the final exam is worth 66.6%, you'll have to get at least a 56% on final.
Both of their courses are the same name, Life span Development.
Decide which one is better, another option is CLEP Human Growth & Development, it's free with ModernStates but you're weighing everything on that one exam, the chances to fail are higher, plus you need to find OER material to study with in addition to MS.

You will want to verify with an admissions rep or someone at TESU but we have definitely had courses transfer to TESU in the past. Developmental Pysch is a course that easily transfers almost anywhere unless a school has a very specific requirement for it. If you have any further questions, you can always reach our student services team at studentservices@portagelearning.com.
