Degree advice pls

Hello everyone! My name is Steven, and I am new hear. I am 51 years old, and I am researching ways to quickly earn my bachelor's degree. I have 46 credits, but they are very aged. Some are from 1998, and some are from 2011-2013. I do not know 100% what degree I want it in or if I can even find what I am looking for in an online self-paced collage that will allow for Sofia credits and/or study.com credits.

My thoughts right now are:

1. nutrition
2. Psychology 
3. Biblical studies


However, as stated, I am not 100% sold on any particular degree at this time. I am just doing the research, so I am open to ideas.

One of my BIG concerns is, I will not be able to get traditional financial aid (Yes, I have checked, yes, I am positive) so I will also be seeking guidance on how I might can find and obtain other grants and scholarships that I am unaware of at the moment.

Here is the list of classes I have already taken and have a total of 46 credits.

Also would like imput on schools. I have spoken to UMPI once a couple of years ago and I liked them OK, it was just so expensive. but if I can find the grants and scholarships, it would be doable.

I also think if I went the biblical studies route, Liberty U would probably be decent.

But, I am just not sure what all is out there, and where would give me the best bang for my buck bringing in existing credits, and accepting Sofia credits.

UMPI is expensive? The YourPace program? It's probably the most affordable RA school.

Since you're interested in biblical studies though, there is a super cheap NA self-paced option which is Genesis University: https://genesisu.edu/

At $60/credit or $180 a course. I've emailed admissions before and they seem nice.

The two Bachelor's Degrees are:

Bachelor of Arts in Education and Religion

Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (Judaic Studies)

Schools generally don't have an issue with old credits. This school is the same: 

Typically credit earned within the last 30 years is considered for transfer. The consideration of credit earned more than 30 years ago will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

They're ACE friendly and also accept seminary credit.

Don't look at UMPI per-credit tuition, look at the flat-rate per-term tuition for the YourPace program, and understand that most students complete many requirements by transferring prior credit and lower-cost alt-credit (e.g., Sophia.org, Study.com).

Other low-cost options in bible and religion include Kairos University (kairos.edu, not the unrelated school in California using a similar name), NationsUniversity (not RA, NA DEAC), and Christian Leaders Institute (relatively new and not accredited, but a recognized candidate for NA with the ABHE).

@starsfan33, Welcome to the board, UMPI and TAMUC are both your best bets (depending on what degree you're going for). I would highly recommend comparing the two institution offerings, UMPI BLS or their BA/BABA and TAMUC with their BGS or BAAS with several concentrations. If you're in Texas, I also would recommend TAMUC as your first choice and UMPI as the backup option, it really depends again...

I am looking for advice on what degree I should most consider, that will give me the best value. I am torn and am seeking reasonable and thoughtful advice. I am 51 years old and I am mostly just wanting to finish something I started a long time ago.

I LOVE Psychology, and I have a lot of credits in psych, but everywhere I look I see it being said that it is a terrible degree that unless your going for your masters, has no real world value. 

I am looking at going to either WSU or UMPI and I had a transcript evaluation done on a Bachelor of Science Business Administration, Management degree, and I was gutted when I seen how little my credits would get used. It only covered 12% of my degree if I went that route. Please take a look at what I'm looking at and give me some thoughts on what direction would be best to look at.

I am posting a screenshot of my credits earned.

I am open to consider any degree, any college. I am just looking for the smartest, best advise that will give me value in the degree.

UMPI does offer a psychology bachelor's degree. What would you want to do with a degree in psych is probably something you need to ask yourself. Can you be a psychologist? Probably not. It normally involves advanced degrees and licensing. It would be the stepping stone to those degrees and licensing though.

This is my Delima. I highly doubt I would continue through to a masters degree, so the "job" I could get with the psych degree likely wouldn't offer much value in the work place. This is what I'm seeking advise on. Given the credits I have, what is my fastest route to a degree that will offer some real-world paycheck value. what school/degree should I be looking at?

Basically, I repeat what I said in post #5, your best bet is either TAMUC BAAS or UMPI BLS as it will take all your current credits, for both institutions...
