Things are currently fluid. My VR&E counselor is confused and seems to think that my degree I just got is not going to cut it for the CAA program application process. But the plan has always been to complete this degree, get premed courses and then Masters of Medicine (CAA). (The MOAL is in the mix when the opportunity is available) I said I would need at least two semesters of premed courses. He has reached out to his boss and boss's boss and they have all decided that I need a degree in the sciences. Although I have stated numerous times it does not say that is a requirement. Now the last phone conversation he says I should go ahead and get my next science degree in two semesters. Which I never stated as much. He has so much on his plate I spend half our conversation reminding him of my case. Currently as it stands, I have an appointment with the admissions counselor for the UMPI BA of Biology premed concentration. I plan to talk to them about the requirements of the CAA application and feasibility of getting most done among other questions. Mind you this would have me moving to Maine to take these courses in person. I already checked UC and local community college, but they seem to require prechem as prerequisite for many of the courses I need for my application and puts me back a whole semester. This coming week I will have clarity moving forward between the meeting with the admissions counselor and my VR&E counselor. As a sidenote my VR&E counselor is a hot mess, but he's not a gatekeeper and it is with his support I am allowed this opportunity to attend CAA school completely paid.

It looks like you considering moving to Maine to do the prereqs in-person. Does the CAA program you are considering care if you did your prereqs online or in-person? (If they accept online then there are so many options you can consider.) If they have to be in-person, is UC the University of Cincinnati and that local community college Cincinnati State? If so, it looks like you might be able to take Chemistry CLEP to remove that Prechem requirement.
University of Cincinnati
Chemistry 65 CHEM 1040 (4) 4
Chemistry 50–64 CHEM 1020 (3) 3

Cincinnati State
Chemistry 50-65 Ohio Transfer 36 Natural Science without Lab Credit 3
Chemistry 66 and above CHE 121: General Chemistry 1 4

Other options:
Sinclair CC has a campus in Mason, Ohio and it looks like their Chemistry Associate of Science is mostly available in person there.

Miami University has a campus in West Chester, Ohio and it looks like they have a Applied Biology - Bachelor of Science

What level of science degree (AS, BS) do you have to get?

From what I understand the colleges seek approval through CASAA and tend to follow similar requirements across the board. It is also where students apply for CAA programs. All the science pre requirements need to be attended in person for NOVA Orlando. I will be applying to multiple campuses, but Orlando is where I would like to attend. Thank you for all the recommendations. I will take a look at the CHEM CLEP. The reason why I will most likely end up in Maine for at least 2 semesters is it makes my counselor happy and keeps me on track for meeting all the requirements to apply for the program. I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me. But after two semesters I will apply for the CAA program and see if they will hold me to a second bachelor's since I don't need it. To be clear, I am navigating VR&E while staying focused on my application. VR&E says I need a bachelor's of science, I ran the BA of Biology with concentration on premed offered at UMPI and they are cool with that. None of the universities state I need a bachelors in science, they state that the applicant needs a bachelor's from a regionally credited college and a list of premed courses attended in person among other things. I am linking the CASAA website and NOVA Orlando CAA requirements.

Well, 2 semesters is impossible if Prechemistry is holding you up.
Organic Chemistry 1 requires General Chemistry 2, which requires General Chemistry 1.

Although you don't need to take Organic Chemistry 2 at NOVA, Biochemistry is a required course. At UMPI, one of the prerequisites for Biochemistry is Organic Chemistry 2.

S1: Gen Chem 1
S2: Gen Chem 2
S3: OChem 1
S4: OChem 2
S5: Biochem
