Planning help for Bachelors in Healthcare Administration

Commitments: I have a full time 8-4 gig, I have 4 kids and all but 1 of them are in sports, so practices during the week, games or tournaments on the weekend. 
Dedicated time to study: I can see myself studying about 20-30 hours a week.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: I can get reimbursed 3k a year from my work.
Schools: open to any school but it has to be 100% online.

Thank you guys ahead of time for your time, it's much appreciated. A little bit about my situation. Ive been in the medical field (Radiology Technologist) for about 12 years now. I work for a great company with top pay and benefits in all of Los Angeles. I didn't finish High School but I did receive my GED at the age of 17. After that I went straight into a private college where I obtained my certification for becoming an R.T. I have through out the years obtained my Computed Tomography license, and most recently my MRI license. As for that being said, I do not have any college credits. The credits I received from the private college was not transferrable credits and not sure if they are even valid since its been over 10+ years. Through out the years, Ive read a lot of financial books and Ive always had interest in financing. I plan on going back to school to further my career but now on the management/leadership side. Ive been auto rejected for management/supervisor roles due to not having a bachelors degree even with the years of experience I have in my field. I want to find the right path for myself that is manageable, cost efficient, and flexible. In January of this year I started studying for the CLEP College Algebra, I just finished the CLEP review book and I have to say, it's tough. Ive taken some mock test and have failed them. Im definitely not ready to seat down for that yet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

You're one of the rare cases that might want to give Liberty University strong consideration because of your budget and also because they are very generous about applying trade school, training, private school credits as college credits towards your degree; not as a portfolio assessment like TESU, but they'll bring in your radiology tech school credits as college credit, which could mean a substantial time savings for you.

TESU may give credit for your radiologic technology credential through their Office of Professional Learning Review, without a portfolio assessment, and independent of whether or not the college you prepared for the credential at gave transferable credit.

TAMUC has a BAAS in health service administration. You are outside of Texas so it would be more expensive ($1500 per 7 week semester), but it is another choice to add to your list.

Applicants to undergraduate School of Business programs must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent AND demonstrate program readiness through one of the following options below:

Option 1: Submit transcripts documenting completion of college-level coursework with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Option 2: Possess a bachelors or associates degree (A.A or A.S. acceptable) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Option 3: Submit high school transcripts for review with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

I got over 30 credits posted on the TESU official transcript as a non-degree-seeking student for my certifications in another healthcare field. The cost was $450 and coursework was later used to transfer to another school. That was a few years ago and the price may have changed. TESU offers associate degrees that may initially be worth pursuing and then transfer to a bachelor's in HCA at a school that fits your needs. Going for the associate's degree first can be rewarding especially if you come in with half the credits from a technical certification!

My broken record soapbox rant is - utilize your network. Have you had conversations with people in your company who are already on your desired career path. Someone in your company may be able to help you develop a roadmap.

Another option is to take the UMPI BABA with any concentration you want, plus have the Study.com HealthCare Management classes as your electives... There are so many options to go around this, you want to have a balanced mix/match of the trifecta, certs, degree, experience. With such a good budget, energy, time, you can complete a competency based Masters in HealthCare Management instead...

Thank you all for your input and suggestions. I think I will work on getting college credits from study.com and transferring over to a partnered school. I first will study the partnered schools and decide 1. which school will allow me to transfer the most 2. the cost of the remaining courses. I do have a question to all, do you worry about the name on your diploma?

FYI: I am working on getting transcripts from my old college. Unfortunately they closed down, so I'm doing my research on getting those. I also will be working on getting the most credits I can with the certificates I have.
