Well that's good to know. I did mine on Sunday so maybe I should see a change by tomorrow.
I contacted Sophia through their chat system and they kept insisting on the parchment thing but my receiving institution will not accept credit's that way so ACE it is. Chat rep mentioned they'll escalate and take a look at it. We'll see.
This doesn't make sense. Many schools only use electronic systems such as Parchment to send transcripts nowadays. I have 4 college transcripts in Parchment. That's literally the only way to get them sent anywhere is the Parchment system.

TESU and Pierpont want ACE credits from ACE directly. I don't think it's that uncommon as far as ACE credits go.

No school is mentioned in the posts. Many schools DO in fact accept Parchment transcripts. In my experience, more accept them through Parchment than don't. My experience is more than 2 schools and not the ones you mentioned.
This is what the poster said:
"I contacted Sophia through their chat system and they kept insisting on the parchment thing but my receiving institution will not accept credit's that way so ACE it is. "
It sounds like the school doesn't accept Parchment transcripts at all. Which doesn't make sense.

So I just got an email from Sophia
Your ACE transcript has been approved by Sophia Learning today, 8/28/2020. You should be all set now.
That took awhile. But I'm not sure about having to do a manual intervention every single time I need to add classes. For now I got 2 more classes I need to add to ACE so I'll let you guys know how that works out.

Is it necessary to request ACE to import the transcripts from Sophia for each course, or will Sophia automatically send them to ACE?

Occasionally, it's taken up to a week or so but As another poster commented, sometimes they're faster than a day. I'd advise exercising patience and not feeling it necessary to intervene unless it's been longer than a week.

For all ACE courses(no matter the provider) you have to manually request them to your ACE transcript/account individually. Takes less than 30 seconds each.

You have to manually add every course to ACE.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying!

Just in case it can help anybody.
How to add the courses to ace:
Go to-> https://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseacti...ripts.main
Login in the left side.
Click button my courses. In left side.
in the middle of the screen is a red button-> add new courses-> Press it.
Have ready name of the course, date of completion and place where you took it (shopia). Follow the screen options until you have the course.
Send the petition and wait between 2 to 8 seven days (my experience, may vary).
Your course will appear in the ACE portal and be ready to go!
