Well, I took the exam today. I think I passed, I had to outright guess at about 8 questions and I wasn't sure of about 18-20 overall. I had 99 questions total.
I'd say that the only thing IC will not give you is detail on the theorists work. You may want to supplement it. I actually found some good, succinct stuff on the major theorists and their contribution on about.com.
It's not a blow-off exam, but it's definitely not one of the hardest - but, of course, I'll have to wait at least 2 weeks to find out what I scored.

Even if you missed about 20 of the questions, you would still be in the 75-80% range! And you KNOW that the curve usually helps us as well.
Sounds like a pass to me. :p

Thanks!! I hope so. I can never tell with these.
Now DSST owes me 3 score reports! I still haven't gotten my score from USSR!! I must be living in some bizzaro world down here in San Antonio and the mail just can't get here!

...Wait, it's really has the mail come yet?

The longest it has taken me to receive a score, so far, was 22 days. Officially, DANTES 'graciously' allows themselves up to "4 weeks" to process your results. So you can't even call and complain until at least 28 days have passed!
If it hasn't yet been 4 weeks since you took the exam, everything is on schedule (DSST's Patented "Slow Motion" Schedule).
If you are anything like me, you begin anxiously checking your mailbox every day, like a kid waiting for Santa to arrive, after about day 12 onward.
I have a love/hate relationship with DANTES. They love making me wait, and I hate that they make me wait!
hilarious
Here's hoping Santa comes to your house very soon,

Thanks y'all! Appreciate the positive thoughts
Thankfully, I took my last DSST yesterday! I'm on the downhill slide - 3 CLEPS and 3 ECE's and I'm done!! With any luck, I'll get my last DSST score sometime before I finish my last ECE.

Yes, please post results, comments, anything!
I am taking this test in two weeks. I passed principles of Statistics and I didn't think I did, so hopefully the same for you.

I copied my own quote from another thread because it was off topic
anar579 Wrote:Well, let's see... I had maybe 3 hours of sleep the night before, and studied only the day before for about 8 hours. I couldn't study/sleep because I'd had terrible back pain for a week.
Anyway, I feel like I passed the exam. The questions were mostly scenario type, where they give you a circumstance/situation and ask you a question based on it. There were some more direct questions, but not as many. It's all a bit hazy, I was in a lot of pain during the exam and was running on caffeine fumes, so I can't give any specifics about the content. I do remember a few questions about what a counselor should do in XYZ situation... mostly because I have been in counseling myself and the personal experience came in handy. I also remember at least 3 questions on Gestalt, which was covered on the exam but I didn't remember and pretty much guessed. Oh, and an easy question about the origins of counseling (for vocational purposes).
Like I said, I do "feel" like I passed, but only time will tell. When I get the results eons from now, I'll be able to say if the exam is passable with the IC guide.
Thanks for asking. I just got my results for this exam, and I scored a 54, which is an A at Excelsior (minimum for an A is a 52). I suppose the exam isn't so difficult after all if I managed to get an A after only 8 hours of study and 3 hours of sleep.

Well done Ana,
Another one bites the dust!
You can't get any higher than an 'A'. So it seems you played it perfectly.
Congratulations,
