DEGREE PLAN HELP PLEASE!
#71
@bvndz, You really need to use the search functions on the forum and on the WIKI, it's all there... https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera
Basically, decide if it's worth it for you to take these or not... Most would not take the 6-9 months it mentions for the cert... Some finish the course within the trial period of 7 days, I suggest to take at least a couple to three weeks as no one knows how much time you're putting into it each and every day. If you need longer, try to finish it at your pace and in 4 weeks, it's all up to you...

Furthermore, you will be able to add the Project Management Minor and the Management Info Systems with just a little bit more work!  As a degree hacker, I created this file for anyone starting from scratch to do the BLS with triple minor... https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid365771

If you're looking at your evaluation, you have the following to do at UMPI for the Management minor.
Bus 141 Intro to Project Management w/ Microsoft Projects
Bus 260 Leadership
Bus 321 Human Resource Management
Bus 415 Operations Management
** Take Bus 240 Change Management, put Bus 350 Business Law I into your 300/400 UL Electives

Your final 6 UL requirements comes from the UL MIS, PM requirements below
BUS 345: Database Management Systems
BUS 440: Business Analytics
BUS 343: Project Risk & Cost Management
BUS 400: Project Management Applications
BUS 401: Advanced Project Management Applications II
BUS: 330 Marketing Management

You'll just be missing 3 courses below
BUS 200: Intermediate Business Computing
BUS 244: Management Information Systems
BUS 245: Programming for Managers

Note: You can transfer them any of the above courses from Study.com or another provider, or take them at UMPI to finish everything in 2 sessions.  You can mix the other 6UL or the Management courses and just take a max of 10 at UMPI by transferring in the rest.  It's really up to you to decide on that, you just need to make a choice, if doing 3 extra courses is worth it for two minors added!

I’m doing all these courses on UMPI, except I took bus law 1 on Sophia. It should be ok correct?

Yes, the person in the thread also took Business Law at Sophia.org - continue onward with the credits above and you're good!

Actually, why do you have two accounts? One a month after the other? Send an email to the administrator to merge your accounts or de-register one of them.

I’m going this route as we speak. If I finish this and in the future I want to get the BABA management and leadership degree or any of the easiest business degree, What more would I have to do to fulfill that?

If you do this many business courses without taking a business degree in the first place, I'm not sure that you can go back and get a BABA. There might not be enough new business courses that will apply to your degree.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Of course there is, you can do the BABA with a completely different concentration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management... But why? Just go do the MAOL or the HAU MBA instead, you don't need an extra degree to get into most of the non-competitive programs out there at the Masters level...

I know I’m in the middle of doing this but I’m considering a change because these business classes are slower than I thought with the move to brightspace and I’m trying to get it done in one semester. But I am trying to double minor in anything if I can, political or history whichever is easier and faster! Below I will list the classes that I’ve already taken and from there can you guys please help me on which double minor will be good. I’m even getting desperate that I’m almost ok with just get bls management minor if it comes down to it. And how many classes would I have to take in the UL to achieve that double minor.

SOPHIA
-business communications
-bus law
-intro to it
-pm

UMPI
-operations management
-business analytics
-database management
-change management
-leadership

And the classes I’ve added but haven’t started that I can probably drop are

-bus 400 - pm applications 1
-bus 343 - project risk and cost management

I’m also in the middle of hr management but the teacher is really strict.
