DBA or PH.D in Educational Leadership for more opportunities

That depends. What are your goals? What do you want to wake up and do for the majority of your day? Answer that as specifically as possible and it will be easier to answer this.

I would recommend reading a few posts in the Graduate School section of this degree board to get an idea on the differences between the DBA & the PhD as I wrote about them a few times. Cheers! and happy searching for your dream doctorate.

Note: You basically answered your own question, DBA is for Business and the PhD is for Educational Leadership, decide on what you want to do in the few years ahead. If you're going for upper management in either "fields", select the one that gets you to that position.

I want to dedicate myself to an educational administration, but I also want to give some business classes. It will be that he became a specialist in finance to complete the 18 credits so that he could give some classes.

I am going to be doing an EdS after my MSE. My MSE will be in Higher Education Administration - Student Affairs. My EdS will be in Higher Education Administration. I am interested in working in a few different departments in Student Affairs. I would also like to teach as an adjunct at a community college or an online program. I can do all of that with an MSE. The EdS is mostly so I can move up to a Dean or VP position. The EdS is a doctorate degree. There's more than PhDs.

The EdS is theoretically a terminal degree, but it is not a doctoral degree. It was designed for K-12 educators in states where one gets a benefit from having "Master's + 30 credits" of education. It's not meant for higher education administration, and in nearly two decades in higher ed I don't remember meeting anyone who had one there.

Yeah, the EdS is specifically designed to be a credential that's somewhere between your MEd and EdD. Like Steve says, it is not considered a doctorate.

The real difference between the two is the dissertation. If the dissertation isn't need, then an EdS is fine. Many college administrators have an EdS. Yes, many have doctorates as well. it all depends on what you want to do and where you want to go.

There are EdS programs that are specifically for High Education Administration. Most people who do the programs do it for the PK-12, but not all.
