I can only answer some of those questions right now. I'm hoping to take the exam during Spring Break. You indicate your start date on the application. IIRC, the application fee is $25, but I used a coupon code. If you contact enrollment to express interest, they might send you a coupon code before you apply. I do not know if you have to wait until after the start date to register for the CBE, but I'm pretty sure you can't take it until after the start date. Registering for it does not cost anything. You pay the $250 when you schedule the CBE. I also do not know how long you have to take it. I'm assuming that it's somewhat like TESC where you have to take it before the term is over even though they give you 12 months to retake the exam if you fail. I really could be wrong on this.

The prep area is supposed to contain topics you should study and practice questions. I haven't taken a look at it yet because, the last time I logged in, they were having technical difficulties with my account. Maybe if I dig a little, I can find the transcript fee, but I can't find it right now.
